Electroless nickel has most of the properties of electrolytic nickel although it is slightly harder and even less porous. More importantly however, instead of using electrolysis as a means of plating it relies on a purely chemical reaction and therefore plates evenly all over (inside and out). It is particularly useful for example, where there is a requirement to adequately cover all internal surfaces. Medium phosphorous nickel is most often specified but we also offer high phosphorous where a higher corrosion resistance is required
